Susan has practiced in the Bryan-College Statin area for the past 25 years, focusing on meeting the clients' needs to make each home unique to the lifestyle of the owners.
Susan has practiced in the Bryan-College Station area for the past 25 years, focusing on meeting the clients' needs to make each home unique to the lifestyle of the owners.
She seeks to provide continuity from the conceptual design to the completion of every detail in the finished home, by working closely with every entity in the building process.
Her design abilities excel in the areas of space planning, selection, creativity, proportion, color choices, and knowledge of available products and services.
Susan's abilities have been recognized by her peers with awards in the ASID Design Competition in the Gulf Coast Region.

Aimee Bartel Allen
Senior Interior Designer
Soon after graduating from The University of Nebraska in 1977 with a major in Interior Design and a minor in Fine Art, Aimee's family moved to College Station where she began her professional career.
Soon after graduating from The University of Nebraska in 1977 with a major in Interior Design and a minor in Fine Art, Aimee's family moved to College Station where she began her professional career. As a professional member of ASID for 28 years , she served two terms as a board member of The Texas Gulf Coast Chapter. Having passed all the exams of the National Council of Interior Design Certification in 1983, Aimee served as Regional Proctor of that exam for four years. Licensed as a registered interior designer in the State of Texas in 1993, she joined the Texas Association for Interior design the same year.
Aimee believes that success as an interior designer comes from a balance of creativity; education in all aspects of the building process; as well as sensitivity to each client's lifestyle. She promotes a strict code of ethics and professional business practices. Aimee understands that mutual respect is paramount between client and interior designer as well as between interior designer and the architects/engineers/contractors/subcontractors on each project. The process of building or remodeling can be overwhelming but with a good team, the client should expect comfortable, individualized spaces that reflect a history of their lives, their work process, as well as their hopes and dreams.
Aimee is semi-retired and loves working with the amazing team at By Design!
Stacy Segner
Interior Designer
Stacy started working at By Design in the fall of 2011. She graduated in May 2010 from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design.
Stacy started working at By Design in the fall of 2011. She graduated in May 2010 from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design. While in school, she was involved in the ASID Student chapter and also acquired hands on experience while interning at an architectural and design firm in the San Antonio area.
Soon after graduating she began her design career at Suburban Contemporary Furnishings in Oklahoma City, where she gained knowledge in home furnishings, space planning, and the ability to understand and listen to client's needs.
